Onstream Media Sells Exclusive Rights to ASPA Japan for $1.0 Million

ASPA Japan Will Distribute Onstream's Products and Services in the Middle East

POMPANO BEACH, FL – Onstream Media Corporation ( OTC: ONSM), a leading online service provider of live and on-demand, digital media communications and applications, announced today that it has completed an agreement with ASPA Japan Co., Ltd. (ASPA) a leading Video Application Service Provider based in Tokyo, Japan, whereby ASPA will serve as the exclusive sales agent in certain Middle Eastern countries for all of Onstream Media’s products and services. In exchange for this exclusivity, which has an initial term of five years, ASPA will pay Onstream Media an upfront fee of $1.0 million.

Under the terms of the agreement, ASPA will have the exclusive right to sell Onstream Media’s products and services to customers located in the Republic of Turkey, Republic of Lebanon, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Arab Republic of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. Onstream Media products and services to be marketed by ASPA will include turnkey video solutions provided by the Digital Media Services Platform (DMSP) including digital media hosting, streaming, transcoding, smart encoding, user generated video and Onstream’s Auction Video services as well as webcasting and webconferencing.
