Televisa Chooses Onstream Media to Enable User Generated Video Content for its Esmas.com Portal

Onstream Media Corporation ( OTC: ONSM), a leading online service provider of live and on-demand, digital media communications and applications, announced today that Onstream Media has been chosen by Televisa, the largest media company in the Spanish-speaking world, to enable user generated video content for Televisa’s Esmas.com Internet portal. Esmas.com is already the leading portal network for Hispanic content in the world, featuring more than 120 sites within its network.
Onstream Media’s Digital Media Services Platform (DMSP) will be utilized by Televisa to facilitate the automated uploading, transcoding, hosting and streaming of both user-generated video content as well as Televisa’s own video productions within the Esmas.com portal. The Onstream Media DMSP will automatically provide for the accommodation of a wide variety of media player formats and end-user devices and connection bandwidths.
