U.S. Department of State Orders Live Video Webcast Series from Onstream Media

POMPANO BEACH, FL – April 3, 2006 – Onstream Media Corporation ( OTC: ONSM), a leading online service provider of live and on-demand, digital media communications and applications, today announced that it has received a comprehensive services order from the U.S. Department of State to purchase a series of video webcasts. The live video webcasts will enable the U. S. Department of State to deliver the series of 2006 State Department Human Rights Reports to a global audience.

The first of these webcasts took place on Wednesday, March 8th, when Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice delivered opening remarks. Under Secretary Paula Dobriansky also spoke at the special briefing. In addition, Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, Barry F. Lowenkron gave a statement and answered questions.

Onstream Media provided a live video webcast including web production services, closed captioning and satellite signal acquisition from the Department of State. All events are being hosted on Onstream Media’s Digital Media Services Platform and made available at the U.S. Department of State website, http://www.state.gov.
