ONSTREAM MEDIA JOINS WITH EQUESTRIAN ENTERTAINMENT PARTNERS TO OFFER ON-DEMAND SEARCHABLE MEDIA CONTENT FOR HORSE SPORT ENTHUSIASTS

POMPANO BEACH, FL: January 10, 2006: Beginning with its on-demand, online presentation of the 2005 Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, Equestrian Entertainment Partners (EEP; http://www.equestrianentertainment.com) has established a new standard for equestrian sports experience in the digital media marketplace by implementing the Onstream Media Digital Media Services Platform (DMSP). Following EEP’s North American broadcast of the Burghley Horse Trials on November 25, 2005, the 90-minute program has been made accessible online in an innovative format that allows viewers to search and play those moments they are most interested in.

EEP chose Onstream Media’s ( OTC: ONSM) Digital Media Services Platform (DMSP), built on the core technology that has powered video applications for various sports-related websites including The Masters, NFL, EXPN and NASCAR, that combines “Smart” Encoding, Metatagging and Indexing, hosting and streaming. This same technology will provide EEP’s subscribers direct access though the http://www.virtualhorsesports.com website to the content clips they most want to watch.

The on-demand program is the first installment in a broad range of rich media content that EEP will present through its “Virtual Behind-the-Scenes Pass” at http://www.virtualhorsesports.com. Their initial focus will be Three-Day Eventing, the equestrian sport featured in their new series “Inside Eventing” that premiered on RFD-TV December 2, 2005. EEP’s portal will expand over time to include footage from competitions and other events that can be sorted and viewed by discipline, rider, jump or even refusals, just to name a few categories.

“The equestrian sports fan deserves a rich on-line media experience approaching those of other sports like golf and football”, EEP President and Executive Producer, Dana Voorhees said. “Onstream Media’s DMSP technology will give our on-line viewers the ultimate power to customize their viewing experience by going directly to the part of the competition they’re excited about.

“Our partnership with EEP brings the DMSP exactly what it was designed to support: innovative content with value potential,” said Randy Selman, CEO for Onstream Media. “The innovation of the DMSP is that it also provides for a fully integrated storefront for content-driven business, including pay-per-view and Digital Rights Management (DRM) tools to support flexible end-user licensing and subscriptions.” This will be a valuable capability for EEP as they seek to monetize their content resources with the equestrian community.

“We needed to come out of the box with a site that immediately delivered end-user value, not just to our subscribers, but also to our sponsors,” said Tom Gorman, Managing Director of EEP’s parent company, Group Incorporated (http://www.groupincorporated.com). “The sports media marketplace is undergoing revolutionary change, especially on the web. The DMSP will integrate into the EEP portal, and will provide the back-end account management, transaction processing and usage reporting we will need to support and improve our on-line business performance.”

The marriage of the EEP equestrian sports venture and Onstream Media’s DMSP solution is part of a larger partnership that includes Group Inc’s other business divisions. That relationship delivers a broad range of streaming media production and distribution for a range of corporate, association and political clients.
